In the photos that you sent me it looked like your carpet was red/burgundy (I could be completely off here, that's just what it looked like in the photos). If you choose a green paint (which is the complimentary color to red) it will make the carpet seem even more red. that's why I thought choosing a more netural color would be better. Hope that makes sense. Have a great weekend...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1776572413324275632.post-63015550284729860102009-10-23T11:52:04.949-05:002009-10-23T11:52:04.949-05:00Go green! It also might be just a bit too much tone on tone- unless that is the look you are going for. I'd paint a 2 ft. patch of the green on the wall and live with it for at least a day and a night to see how the color changes. But I think it is the way to go, IMHO.
:-) SueSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12843513751203663201noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1776572413324275632.post-42173688059522489542009-10-20T18:20:42.578-05:002009-10-20T18:20:42.578-05:00I like the green. I just bought some drapes to go in the living room this year...and I bought different colors of panels...browns & greens!!! So...go w/ green. The two will look adorable together! Although...if you plan on changing color schemes, the brown would be better to adapt to later on...but then again, repainting is always an option! *ughTamarahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02593709453278546375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1776572413324275632.post-73382883462039912042009-10-20T08:20:09.979-05:002009-10-20T08:20:09.979-05:00Just judging from these photos, I would go with th...Just judging from these photos, I would go with the first color.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1776572413324275632.post-82147903440711216292009-10-19T21:45:35.923-05:002009-10-19T21:45:35.923-05:00green!green!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1776572413324275632.post-86051087869491971382009-10-19T21:01:41.758-05:002009-10-19T21:01:41.758-05:00i love the fabrics and both colors, although, like...i love the fabrics and both colors, although, like you said, the green isn't showing up much. maybe b/c of the flash? i sometimes have to turn it at a diff angle or turn the flash off completely so maybe try that?6L'shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04451419316812795006noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1776572413324275632.post-18287581909612274542009-10-19T18:58:59.068-05:002009-10-19T18:58:59.068-05:00I like dirty colors....so I like the brown - it is...I like dirty colors....so I like the brown - it is very rich looking.
Good luck !
KammyKammyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05891531255193373590noreply@blogger.com
