Made a rare trip to the mall today--I can probably count on one hand the number of times I've been in the past couple of years. This visit was prompted by several emails I received from Kirkland's. Guess what I found there? Nothing! The store has evidently closed--and I missed it! My stomach hurts to think about all the great sales I missed. Guess I'll pay more attention

ah, you just missed it! they closed just a week ago. leila and i go there to walk around (and get pretzels and chinese!). i couldn't beleive coach house gifts went out too! if it makes you feel any better, i heard they may be opening somewhere else in town (kirklands). not sure if it's true or not.

ReplyDeleteIt seems they are closing lots of their stores that are located in enclosed malls, but opening new stores in drive-in malls. Maybe that will be the case where you live. Think of all the Grand Opening sales and you'll feel better!

Oh Bev, I did the same thing a year ago this month. Except I drove about an hour to the only mall nearby that has/had a Kirkland's. I sure was surprised when I got there and it was gone.....boohoo! Sorry about the music thing - you are the second person to tell me it scared them. I'll change it this weekend. Ha!
