Walk With Me

I mentioned the other day that I've been walking three times a week with my friend April and several of you commented about it.  So I thought I'd bring you along on our trek this morning.  Remember it's three miles.  It rained yesterday and the temps were a lot cooler.  Take a look at this sky...

We park at the end of "the lane"--aka April's driveway...

Then we start down toward the end of the road, where we turn around and walk back....

Occasionally, Thor comes out to greet us.  What a ham...

Heading back up the hill...

Sights along the way...

Halfway done!  Now to head back...

Home stretch...

As I was driving home, I spotted someone looking at me from the bushes.  I stopped the car and was able to quickly roll down the window and snap a picture before she took off...

Wasn't that fun?  Aren't you glad you came along?

  4. Just have to add,
we once had a dog named Thor. Sweet memory.
Looked like Thor was smiling in the 2nd photo of him. :-)

  8. What a beautiful area to walk in!! You and April must love taking in all the sights & sounds! I have never had farm fresh eggs before I bet they are good. I sometimes question how old the eggs we get at the store actually are.

Thanks for the great pictures! How wonderful that you have a friend to walk with 3x's a week.

  9. Good idea to document your walk. It really is beautiful and fresh looking everywhere first thing in the morning. And, in response to your comment on my blog, I would much rather walk at 7, but it is just too hot for me then. I guess I am just a wimp in the humidity. :)

  15. I LOVE farm fresh eggs. My grandmother used to have hens, but when they got rid of them, I'd ride with her to an Amish home to buy them.

What a beautiful view you have while walking. So peaceful.

Thanks for linking up with us today on The RHOK. =)

  19. All of a sudden I'm feeling kinda lazy. My 3 mile walk wouldn't be near as pretty though. I love pictures of old barns.
