...buy cheap jelly beans at the Dollar Tree--at least the "gourmet" kind. (I'm talking the nameless brand--not the Jelly Belly rejects.) I consider myself a connoisseur of jelly beans and these are nasty with a capital N! Not only do they taste bad, their texture is disgusting. I did not come to this conclusion hastily--it took me half a bag to be certain!

Now I know what not to buy. Thanks.
Ouch, life's lessons don't come easily do they?
I know what you mean about people stopping by but not commenting. Everyone needs a little feedback, it only takes a minute or two.
Uh-Oh, now I am craving Jelly Beans.
it is so true about the jelly beans...gotta have the real jelly belly's! i once bought a sam's club size gourmet container b/c they were on clearance very cheap. they were not good at all and it explained why they were on clearance!
I totally agree in the jelly beans. I am needing to get my Robin Eggs, Cadbury Cream Eggs and prpare to make the edible Easter baskets.
Jelly beans--TRUE!
Great Value color-safe bleech: I am a FAN. However, it IS really gooey, and very thick! SO....just keep the last bottle you had of it, and 1/2 the new one....mix with 1/4 water. That's what I do, and it works just fine.
How's that for MY tip of the day?
And yes...I finally commented! ha ha :-P
I love you Mom. I miss your wit and Erika keeps complaining to me about how you have slacked on your posting.
Thanks for the tips! I still need to try out those girl scout cookies at the Dollar Tree!
Hi Beverly, Long time since my last visit- it's been a little crazy around my house since Jan. Love your tips for friends... My favorite jelly beans are the Starburst brand that you can really only get around Easter- and I really like the tropical flavor the best! No cheapie store brands for me... Hope all is well on your end. I'll try to get back again soon.
:-) Sue
