I Heart the Hodgepodge Questions-Vol 66

1. George Washington-Abraham Lincoln-Thomas Jefferson...who would you most like to meet and why?  Lincoln--I'd ask him about his marriage to Mary Todd and how they dealt with her depression.

2. What's your favorite chain restaurant?  O'Charley's--they have some of the best salads!  And I could literally drink their honey mustard dressing!

3. I spied this question on the Bears at Home blog last week and she gave me permission to steal
borrow it-

When you look back on your life, do you imagine you'll think about the goals you failed to meet with regret? Or will you look at what you accomplished and say: it was good?  At this point in my life, I'm already looking back and regretting the goals I failed to meet.

4. Grapefruit-take 'em or leave 'em? Given the choice between an orange and a grapefruit which would you choose? Would you prefer it served as is or squeezed into juice?   Give me an orange--and squeezed into juice, because I'm lazy like that.

5. When was the last time you cleaned out a closet? Is there a closet in your home that currently needs cleaning? What are you waiting for?   Can't remember.  More than one.  Second Tuesday of next week.

6. You get to have lunch with three famous people...who would you like to see round your table?  I honestly am not impressed by famous people--especially celebrities.  How about Paula Deen (is she doing the cooking?), Sarah Palin, and Trace Adkins (but not to talk, just to sit there and look purty--and maybe sing).

7. On a scale of 1-10 how would you rate your ability to parallel park?   -5

8. Insert your own random thought here.  Can you tell I'm in a bit of a funk?  Maybe it's the time of year.  Maybe it's the rain and gloomy weather.  Maybe it's just me.  That's one of the reasons I haven't posted. Didn't want to inflict my Eeyore-ness on the rest of you.  Just been feeling invisible lately.

HOLY COW! you're back!!! i just checked on here earlier to see if it really had been 2 months! ;) please blog when you feel eeyore-ish so i don't feel so alone in my dark head. i just removed my readers so i don't have to inflict on y'all anymore. :/
i don't give a flip about celebs either. i'd prefer eating lunch with you and a couple other friends at o charley's where the parking is normal. :)
all my closets need organizing all the time. *sigh* it really never ends. ready for our spring weather to come back, too. going to talk to someone in the morning about my crap. i'll let you know if i learn anything, k? (((hugs)))glad to hear from you!!

Trace Adkins: {{sigh}} Now there's a man! I also mentioned laziness in my #4! O'Charley's honey mustard on their fried chicken salad: heaven!

Yes, O'Charley's does have some of the best salads AND rolls! Trace Adkins...another good pick! I've been in a bit of a funk myself. We found out yesterday that we may very well have to move. My husband's been out of work for 9 months, so the job offer is a GOOD thing, but there are so many other things to consider. I'm such a worry wart!

Phew! I thought blogger was acting up and I was just missing your posts! Stick around and maybe your funk will start to go away! Believe it or not, sometimes cleaning out a closet helps me feel better.

It's so nice to see you here today Beverly! Sorry you've been feeling blue. I think the month of February is like that sometimes.

I could have a lunch with three of my fave country singers too : )

Lincoln is amazing :) And love your choices for people you'd eat with. Hope the sun shines brightly soon!

Good to see you back!
I think Lincoln is inspirational, when you consider how many difficulties he overcame in his lifetime.
Closet..me too! and no picture!
Parallel parking I am good at, even if I say so! A lady once stood on the pavement to watch me squeeze into a space and told me afterwards that she gave me zero chance of getting in there! Probably just as well I didn't know that as I started to park!

So glad you're back ... I'd missed you.

I'm not into celebrities either ... which is why most of the time, that kind of question is a toughie for me. Since Joyce didn't indicate whether they had to still be living, that helped me. ;-)

Hope you'll be back again *soon*!

The best physical feature [that I just love] with Paula Deen is her HAIR!!

Even being a Texan....I'd prefer Simply Orange to Texas's own...Minute Maid. LOL

MY LINK: DOWNTOWN PARK [you'll need to scroll down below my photo shares to read if you chose to stop by to visit!!]

I can't parallel park to save my life! Paula Deen would be a hoot to have lunch with- especially if she was cooking. But if Sarah Palin showed up, I'd pretend not to be home! LOL

Sorry you're in a funk right now! I hate those. Hope it passes soon!

:( you are in a funk. I blame it on the weather.

Glad you're back.
Sorry about the 'funk'.
Orange any day over grapefruit.
As far as looking back and having regrets, it is a waste of time, Yesterday is History,
Tomorrow is a Mystery
Today is a gift, that is why it is called the 'present'.

Love ya, keep looking forward.

Smart to have someone to your dinner who could do the cooking for it!

I have never heard of O Charley's before but my kids live honey mustard, so I am going to scout that brand out at the store!

I probably would like to visit George Washington and ask about how he encouraged and inspired his men, when they did not have adequate clothing. But I like your question to Luncoln & would Luke to know the answer to that question to.
