What a week we've had! First, Baby Nate makes an early but welcome appearance. I leave this afternoon to spend a few days with Lauren and her family, so it won't be long till I get to squeeze those chubby little cheeks and nuzzle that fat neck! Can't wait!
We spent last Friday in a whirlwind of activity preparing for a rehearsal barbeque at our house. The weather was luckily very cooperative--especially for August--low temps and best of all low humidity! We probably had 50 people--lots of good food and fun.
Then Saturday was spent at the Nashville temple participating in the marriage of our only son to his sweetheart. I won't bore you with a lot of pictures, but couldn't resist posting a few. You may see more when we get the professional ones back!

There have been many times over the past few years that I wasn't sure I'd ever see this day. Saturday was the answer to many many prayers from a worried mother on behalf of a beloved son. The Lord truly does hear and answer prayers.

Congratulations to the happy couple! The orange is SO pretty. I love her bouquet, SO pretty.
The orange was the first thing I noticed. Looks like it was meant to be ;)
I am so happy for you. It's one thing to raise our children the best we can but quite another to stand by while they make life altering decisions when they become adults. Indeed, prayers of righteous parents are definately heard up above. Congratulations.
They are such a beautiful couple.
Oh how awesome. Congratulations! Smootching on the new grandbaby is the best thing ever!!
LOVE the orange and it photographs beautifully. Course the fact that he is handsome and she is a cutie don't hurt either. Congrat's on the new daughter-in-law!
AND, the new baby.
I'm thinkin' you just may be the luckiest woman in the world on this Monday!
Love the pictures! No surprise on the orange. They look so happy. Reminds me of that wonderful feeling that I had 8 years ago as we left the Temple.
So happy for you all! LOVE the pictures. Congratulations!
I am so happy for them. They make a great looking couple. Love the orange.
