One of my favorite bloggers is Dawn at Bee and Rose. She is an amazing example of finding humor in most situations and being graceful under pressure. Dawn lost her dear husband last night after a long illness. Please take a few minutes to say a prayer for Dawn and her children and maybe visit her blog to leave some words of comfort.
Life is short. Hug your loved ones while you can and never miss an opportunity to tell them what they mean to you. Dear Readers, you mean more to me than you know. I value your comments and encouragement. I haven't been around much lately, but I knew you'd be here when I returned and I've kept up with you all along. Thank you!

I will say a prayer for them. I'm so sorry for their loss. Long illness or not, it's never an easy thing to lose someone. And particularly at this time of year.
I don't know Dawn, but will pray for her. Very sad.
This is so sad and I also heard joe wolverine passed today. Life is short. Prayers for them all. Love you Beverly!
I am so sorry. xo
Beverly...thank you from the bottom of my heart for your very kind words. I am deeply grateful to you for this.
Life is short...you are so right. When I left the hospital to go check on our sick daughter, my husband was joking with the nurses. He was actually supposed to go home the next day as he had improved. I couldn't believe it when the dr called to tell me to come back right away. He died peacefully in his sleep. He suffered a fatal heart arrhythmia. I am grateful he did not suffer. He had suffered so much this past year especially. He actually had just suffered two massive coronaries in early December and survived both! We still are just in complete shock that he's gone. I will always be glad that we had him home for Christmas.
Thank you again, Beverly. I am overwhelmed by your kindness.
With love and blessings
Dawn
Oh, my. I have a friend who suddenly lost her husband 3 weeks ago; he was 48 & they have 7 kids, 21 years to 4 years old. You're right...life is too short.
