Oh, my husband would love that. He isn't from the south but he talks about fried bologna all the time. His mom used to buy bologna by the chub and slice it thick and fry it up and then put mashed potatoes on top. Do they make it that way down south?
My husband always goes to Hardees and gets us Breakfast every Saturday morning! When he came home 2 weeks ago, announcing the "new promotion" I about died!!! I can't believe it....what are they gonna come up with next?
One of our favorites is BBQ Bologna. You can buy it most anywhere in Oklahoma, but when we moved here (to Louisiana) it's no where to be found. We had our friends over one evening and served it because it was something they had never even heard of. Imagine that!
Please allow me to introduce myself...(sorry, Mick)
Welcome to my blog! You can blame my youngest daughter Lauren for getting me into this!
My name is Beverly--not Bev--and I am a southerner through and through. My husband Darrell and I have shared life together since 1976. We started as a family of two; that turned into six with the additions of our four children. We now number eighteen! We have nine beautiful grandchildren--three girls and six boys!
My interests are wide and varied, and I claim no expertise at any of them. I might be considered sarcastic and smart mouthed, but I like to think I'm quick witted.
Hope you enjoy your visit here and will stop by frequently. And please leave a comment! I need the validation!

Uh, I saw an add for this.... I was like "YUCK!!! Why oh why would you eat that?" But I guess you shouldn't knock it till you try it. :-)

I love southern cooking. Now you just take out the egg and that will be a great sandwich.

I actually will only eat Bologna fried. I don't like it regular....and yes, I do remember Tennessee Ernie on I Love Lucy...he was a riot.
