It's Thursday.....
Today I am thankful that the AC repairman FINALLY showed up (after 5 days) and was able to get the air conditioner running again. Not that it's been 80 degrees or anything this week...I'm just saying.
I am grateful that I got to eat lunch with Melody today. Lauren and I surprised her with McDonald's. Cassidy enjoyed going to the big school and wanted to stay.
I'm thankful business is picking up. With warm weather upon us, it should get better still.
I'm grateful for the beautiful knockout roses blooming outside my kitchen window. If you've ever thought about growing roses, but decided they were too much trouble, try knockouts. They are more disease and insect resistant, and don't have to be deadheaded or pruned. Gorgeous! I now have about 8.
Okay, people! No one was thankful last week--here's your chance to make up for that ingratitude! Comments welcome (and expected)....

I love your roses! How beautiful - I just heard about knockout roses this year. I wish I had some, I will have to drop some hints to hubby.
I am thankful for my family, and for washing machines! yeah without them I would have to do our laundry by hands - whew!
I have 3 "tiny" Knock-Out rose bushes. I told my hubby how wonderful they were and we rushed out last year and bought three. I think I have the only three in our entire community that are still teeny, tiny. LOL
I'm thankful for the telephone which keeps me connected to my family which lives far away. I would so miss getting to hear the sound of their voice if I couldn't talk with them.
oh bummer...i was lame last week?! okay, let's play make up. :) i am SO thankful to be back home with my wonderful hubby and kids!! missed them bunches!! and for last week, i am thankful for all his wonderful rain! saving me having to water my straw bales...we planted the seeds yesterday!! the kids are anxiously awaiting some plants, lol! i missed you while i was gone! :) hugs to you, my friend!
I'm thankful for modern medicine, caring hubbies, loving kids, and orange julius!
I am thankful to have a roof over my head and that life is getting back to being happy again. Christina is slowly getting back to her sweet self again. Most of all I am thankful to have great friends that are there for me when I need them.
I love knockouts too! I just planted two this spring, and I'm so jealous that yours have so many blooms! I noticed one of mine has one bud this morning, so that makes me happy!
I'm thankful for spring and the green trees!
