How Do YOU Sleep?

My husband and I apparently sleep very well--and deeply. Late last night (or very early this morning), I roused to the sounds of sirens. Lots and lots of sirens. They seemed to go on forever and get closer and closer. Then they just stopped, as though they were right outside my house. I thought about getting up, but my bed is so comfy and soft, I decided that if anything was going on I'd see the flashing lights. Right? Evidently not.

Darrell told me this morning that he dreamed someone was knocking on the front door last night. It must have been a dream, because I didn't hear anything. Neither one of us ever got up to investigate.

We live at a busy intersection with a 4-way stop. This morning on my way to church I noticed one of the stop signs wasn't there. The post was leaning and the stop part of the sign was laying in the road.

I guess something was going on and we missed it. Think how much better this story could have been if I wasn't so lazy.

I wish I could sleep that hard but I don't. My house makes noises as if someone were with me in it when I am alone. No one believed me until it happened to my mom when she 'heard' someone come upstairs and then no one was there.

I would love to be able to sleep that sound!
Maybe then I wouldn't have bags under my eyes all the time

Darn, I wanted to hear the rest of the story! I'm a sound sleeper too, and it really is a blessing in many ways...but we do miss out on the the mysterious happenings of the night. :)
