Treat Yourself Thursday

Lori at Family Trees May Contain Nuts! is having a Treat Yourself Thursday party. Since pampering myself is one of my favorite activities, I knew this was something I had to participate in! When you're done here, head on over to Lori's and see what others are doing to make this a special day for themselves or someone else. Then go treat yourself! You deserve it!!

Every so often, I decide to have a spa day at home. Lori gave me the perfect excuse to declare today that day! Here's what I'll be doing:

A little color for the hair, a little less hair on the legs, and a pretty new polish for the toes. Hubby appreciates all the end results, but hates the smells of these products, thus I do this while he's not home. Can't say I'm not a giving person!

My day will also include some of this:

And some of these:

By the time hubby gets home, I'll be rested and relaxed, pampered, and beautiful! Oh, well, three out of four isn't bad. Then it'll be HIS turn....

Good for you. Just don't get your products mixed up.

That sounds so nice. I want to hear if that hair removal stuff works too. With a growing stomach, it's hard to find motivation to shave. If that stuff works, let me know!

A spa day. What better way for a woman to treat herself. You'll have a fantastic evening, I bet!

I need a spa day! Right now I could go for the hot chocolate. It has been cold here in what is suppose to be sunny southern California. It's been more like winter than summer. Have fun pampering yourself.

Someone always rings my doorbell when I apply these products.I wonder what would happen if you actually put Veet on your head by mistake? My son shaves his head, I should tell him about this stuff!(not the nail polish) Happy Treat Yourself Day!

Beverly, Well, I slept 8 1/2 hours last nite and am finally ready to face a new day rested! But, I have over 400 posts to look at on Reader- whew! I think it is just amazing that we have to do all this stuff to ourselves to make us feel and look good. At least you can do your hair at home- I have "resistant gray" that drops color after 8 days! So hairdresser touches up my crown after that long! It's a good thing its' only up on top and my hair is short and at the forehead, because I would be paying a fortune to get it ALL done, at that rate of time! Hope hubby appreciated all of your efforts- and you feel better about yourself too! I WILL go out and buy melatonin today, just in case I have another occurrence. Thanks to you and Lori for the suggestion. Hugs, Sue
