Blogging Tips

Don't worry--it's not from me!  I know my limitations.  But I also know when to take advantage of someone else's expertise.  Jen at Balancing Beauty and Bedlam has written a great post which we can all benefit from.  Click on her name to read it.

Sometimes I get comments and want to respond to the writer, but can't because their email isn't enabled.  I will occasionally go to their blog to leave a comment--or as a last resort, leave a comment on my own blog and hope they come back to see it.  Jen's way is much, much better!  Another favorite blogger gave me this advice a few months ago and it truly has made things easier.

When people don't add their email, I almost feel as though they don't want communication. To me blogging is more a two-way street.

Hi, Beverly, thanks for stopping by. I know I had way too many fake florals around & I love my house more now that I've let some of them go. It's a personal preference though & I know we get attached to our things & can't see past them sometimes. I did that for a long time, but now that they are gone, I don't miss them a bit, you probably feel the same way!

hey- I got it to post...it posts a little funky @ first, but what you have to do is copy it into a normal WORD document first. Then, copy & paste it. It looked very drabish, so I went back and spruced it up a bit with some color, etc. Hope it works! Thanks for the link!!
