1. National Read a Road Map Day falls on April 5th. Would people say you have a good sense of direction? Do you rely on a GPS when you drive somewhere new? When was the last time you used a map? I do not have a good sense of direction--even using a GPS. We have one in every car! If you travel with me, you can guarantee getting lost at least once. And having to turn around multiple times. Other than Google maps, I haven't used a regular map in years.
2. What's your favorite cookbook? Wait--what? People actually have favorite cookbooks?! Huh! Who woulda thought!
3. What painting would you like to "walk into" and experience? Why? "Bridge of Sighs" because it's of Venice--one of my favorite places on earth and full of memories for me.
4. What annoys you more- misspellings or mispronunciations? Misspellings. When we were dating, my sweet husband was in the Army and stationed about 200 miles away. He would write me lovely letters in which he called me his 'angle'. I married him anyway.
5. What is something your mother or father considered important? Appearances. At. all. costs.
6. Do you like or dislike schedules? I prefer them, though I have problems sticking to them.
7. Let's have some fun with National Poetry Month (that would be April)...write your own ending to this poem-
"Roses are Red
Violets are blue..."
Incidentally if you'd like to read the history behind that little ditty you'll find it here.
"Roses are Red, Violets are blue,
if I prefer chocolate, what's it to you?"
8. Insert your own random thought in this space. I washed the sheets on the guest bed after the kids left at Christmas. No one has slept on them since. We are expecting guests this weekend. Is it bad that I just sprayed the sheets with Febreeze instead of washing them?

In answer to your #8-no it's not bad.
Lovely painting...I wouldn't mind being there either : )
Hey, Febreeze works! They'll never be the wiser...unless they read your blog. ;)
HeHe to #4-it just amazes me how many misspellings a person can see. Smiling to response to #2-I hate to cook (admit I can't cook), but I do buy cookbooks just to look through. Enjoyed your answers.
ahhh! Yes, I have not used a map in a long time. However I do use my hand computer print out of mapquest. However I just got lost the other day coming home from Louisanna, so I plan to download a gps app on my iphone before I leave for a trip again.
I would love to go to Veince one day. My favorite cook book has to be Southern living. Why you ask, because all the recipes usually turn out well. and for the time and energy that goes into it, it better turn out good! Hope you have a good week!
I keep saying I need to get a GPS because everytime I leave my house I get lost!
Go ahead and Febreeze those sheets.
Looks like the concensus is it is OK to just Fabreeze the sheets. That's what I would do.
One of my pet peeves is the misuse and mispronounciation of words. My hubby comes from a family of loggers and boy can they butcher the English language. One that REALLY gets me is the whole 'we was', it drives me crazy!!!
(Whew, I guess I need to post that on my Tell It Like It Is Tuesday post.)
I am not good with directions either, but our DD1--oh my, she gets lost on a straight road! That is so sweet to be your hubby's angle--LOL
Enjoyed your responses-as always!
Your hubby must be related to mine, because I'm his angle, too. ;-)
I'm with everyone else who says Febreeze is fine for your clean sheets.
I loved all of your answers! Never thought of the Febreeze trick. Thanks!
Totally agree febreeze those sheets and wash them after their visit. What woman doesn't prefer chocolate? Sometimes you just have to have it.
I wouldn't give those sheet another thought, they are still clean! Enjoyed reading how you answered Joyce's questions and I love the graphics. Yes, Venice would be awesome!
No, it is just fine that you not change the sheets. I certainly wouldn't. :o)
Our daughter and family will be 14 hours away. Wayyyyyyyyyyy to far!
I'm embarrassed to say it wouldn't have crossed my mind that I needed to do anything with the sheets....but then we all know what a stellar homemaker I am!!
I'm with you on the spelling - and kudos to you for not correcting your sweetie's at the first letter :-D
nope! i think fabreeze sounds great, angle! LOL ;)
