The Thanksgiving weekend is drawing to a close. Most of the food is gone--or we're sick of it. The work week is beckoning. But what bothers me most is the quiet. After having three little ones here for several days, their absence is greatly felt. Breakables have found their way back to tabletops. Remotes are within reach--instead of high up on the mantle. String cheese, Goldfish, and fruit snacks are endangered no more. Toys are tucked away. And I am sad. Thank goodness Christmas is just a few weeks away!

I know what you mean about the Quiet. Those grandkids bring so much love to the house.
did you get rid of that cold in time for them to be there?
