Did you channel your inner Tevye as you read that title?
It's getting to be that time of year again and I'm just curious--what are some of your favorite holiday traditions? Thanksgiving, Christmas, whatever. Inquiring minds need to know.
I know that traditions are a very important thing for the well being of children. It is something that grounds them and tells them they are a part of something. I make English trifle every Christmas. Not at any other time of year, ever. Always a turkey dinner with all the trimmings.
Sad to say but I don't think I have one. We all get together at Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday because I get to be home. Maybe I will start one.
the chocolate calendar countdown for christmas and elves on christmas eve are fun kid ones. kfc on christmas eve at the inlaws is awesome---no cooking or having to do turkey twice! :)
Please allow me to introduce myself...(sorry, Mick)
Welcome to my blog! You can blame my youngest daughter Lauren for getting me into this!
My name is Beverly--not Bev--and I am a southerner through and through. My husband Darrell and I have shared life together since 1976. We started as a family of two; that turned into six with the additions of our four children. We now number eighteen! We have nine beautiful grandchildren--three girls and six boys!
My interests are wide and varied, and I claim no expertise at any of them. I might be considered sarcastic and smart mouthed, but I like to think I'm quick witted.
Hope you enjoy your visit here and will stop by frequently. And please leave a comment! I need the validation!
