Meet Me On Monday

Welcome to the 24th edition of
"Meet Me On Monday!"

Blogging is a funny thing...we tell our most intimate thoughts for all to read and yet most of the time I find myself sitting and wondering, "who is this person!?"  I know them...but yet I don't know them!  I want to know who the person is behind all those words so I thought of a great way for all of us to "meet" each other!

"Its a great way to to meet new friends and for others to get to know me better....one Monday at a time!!!"....as quoted by the Chacogirl!! I will make this SIMPLE and FUN!!!

1.  What is your favorite way to eat chicken?
Please--have you met me?  I'm from the South!  Fried, of course!  Preferably, as what we call Tenders with a side of honey mustard to dip them in!

 2.  Have you decorated for Christmas yet?
No.  One of our children has an early December birthday and we never decorated till after that so as to not compete.  It just got to be a habit.  Plus I think Thanksgiving should have its day!

 3.  What is your favorite article of clothing?
Right now, it's a red tunic sweater.
(kinda like this, but not as long)

4.  Do you pay your bills online or write checks the old way?
Both.

5.  Do you make Christmas cookies?
If the slice and bake kind count, then yes.

Hello Beverly from a new follower currently freezing in the UK or as we call it the yUcK. I only started blogging three months ago after 'Son' left home. I could also do with a crash course in computers although marksmanship appeals more. I tried clay pigeon shooting twice but kept missing the targets. Oh well! Lovely to meet fellow bloggers.

I'm not sure if slice & bake count but if it works for you it works for me! Love the red sweater. Fried chicken is awesome. How sweet to wait until after the birthday. Have a great week.

I think it is nice that you wait for your child's birthday to be over before the Christmas decorating. It can be rough on December babies. My son was born Dec 27 so we have to make sure that his birthday is completely separate from Christmas celebration.

Have a wonderful week!

Have not decorated yet for Christmas. Dh & DD both have birthdays tomorrow so don't decorate till they have been suffiently celebrated...Fried Chicked with GRAVY...I make cookies, but usually just one batch...blue jeans...I pay checks the old-fashioned way, though I often shop on-line and use Paypal for that.

Our oldest has a birthday after Christmas--early January and I always thought it best to take the tree down before but she liked for it to stay up. Go figure. LOL

Thanks for stopping by! I must be a Southerner at heart, 'cause I love fried chicken too (but then there aren't too many wasy that I don't like chicken).

I personally have the Pillsbury Doughboy help me with all my cookie baking these days....

My youngest has his birthday at the end of November so we wait until after his birthday before we even begin to decorate for Christmas.
Gosh I never thought of the pre-packaged cookie dough. Hmm maybe I should look for it next time I go shopping!
have a great week!

Is there any other way to cook chicken? I am with you on that one, and I am not even from the south.

No decorating yet and the cookie baking is scheduled for the 18th. I must admit that the cookie and candy making is one of my favorite traditions about the holidays.
