Volume 40?
Wow! 40 is a lot!
Unless we're talking years and then it's a little. ahem.
2. What is something about yourself that you hope will change but that probably never will? my perfectionism
3. What's something about yourself that you hope will never change? my quick wit
4. Do you usually send serious or funny greeting cards? Why? Depends on who the card is for. One of the few things my MIL has complimented me on is how appropriate my cards are. I take a lot of time choosing.
5. Bird watching, shell gathering, or star gazing- your choice for whiling away the hours? Star gazing. Especially while sitting in the hot tub.
6. Do you double or triple check things? If so, what? Not usually.
7. What's your favorite place for people watching? Walmart. Good grief, the things those people wear!
8. Insert your own random thought here. We are having a mild infestation of cicadas. You don't see them flying around much, but they make their presence known with their noise. The other day I was standing under a tree watching the grands ride bikes in the driveway. I noticed the cicadas were particularly vocal, but really didn't think much about it until I heard this whining sound getting louder and louder. I looked up and saw something headed straight for me. Before I could react, a cicada dive-bombed me right in the middle of my forehead! Apparently, they had been trying to warn me off with all their noise and when that didn't work, a kamikaze was elected to take me out. It worked! When those things start singing from now on, I'll be moving along...

I have heard the cicadas here as well. Quite noisy, but thankfully I have not had an encounter like yours!
We haven't had the cicadas here but we heard them when we were down south a few weeks ago. I'm sure when they're extreme like you have it is annoying but the sound always makes me think of summers as a kid.
Enjoy your day!
Sitting in a hot tub star gazing or not would be nice.
College classes start back here Monday so Wal-Mart is the last place you would want to be this weekend. You would definetly see plenty of kids in pj's among other crazy clothes.
Star gazing from the hot tub? That does sound nice. That cicada story is hilarious! I can just imagine it heading straight for you! I know I'll be keeping an eye out now too!
Cicades are loud here also. Star gazing while in the hot tub-how nice.
I've noticed the cicadas being loud lately, too. I would've totally freaked out if one of those ugly things hit my forehead!
I am cringing at the thought of one of those hitting me in the forehead! The neighbors would have gotten a show for sure ;)
